MY STORY

Hi, I’m Danielle — founder and floral designer behind Sweet D Florals.

With a background in film production, I spent years managing the pace, detail, and storytelling of set life — a creative foundation that has shaped how I approach floral design. When I stepped away from film, I found florals — a more tactile and soul-filling medium that felt like home from the very first stem.

My style is whimsical and playful, but always intentional. Inspired by my family cottage and shaped by instinct, I design with story first - creating arrangements that reflect the texture, colour, and feelings of memories. I use my deep connection to the Kawartha Lakes to guide everything I create, working to focus on making arrangements that feel unexpected but still like they naturally belong in a space.

Based in Toronto and servicing the GTA and surrounding areas, I also love to travel for projects that align with my aesthetic and approach.

Clients come to me not just for flowers, but for an experience — collaborative, creative, and deeply personal. Whether you're planning a wedding, curating a brand shoot, or bringing a space to life, I provide a thoughtful balance of play and polish. I listen closely, curate carefully, and design florals that feel like you — elevated, artful, and full of emotion.
